Life: Chaplin’s first appearance on stage was when he was five years old. He entertained the audience and made them
laugh. At the age of seven, he was sent to a workhouse. Both his parents passed away by the year 1928. When he was 9 years old he became interested in theater. At the age of 18, he was an accomplished comedian. He died at the age of 88.
Accomplishments: The Kid (1921) was Charlie Chaplin’s first film that was longer than an hour and was based on Charlie's childhood. A Woman of Paris and The Gold Rush (1923). The Circus (1927). City Lights (1931).
Chaplin is a very famous Silent Film actor and he is still known today.
